Cajun Shrimp & Sausage Pasta
Cajun Shrimp and Sausage Pasta, just like you'd expect in New Orleans. Now you can have it at home! Just enough spice and flavor to make this meal memorable.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 cup cooked sausage, sliced
- 1 lb Peeled Shrimp
- 14.5 ounces Diced Tomatoes
- 2 red yellow Bell peppers
- 1 tbsp hot sauce
- 1 fresh lemon
- Cajun seasoning
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Smoked paprika
- Cayenne pepper
- Seasoning salt
- 2 tablespoon cajun seasoning
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 box linguine pasta, cooked
- 1 cup mozorrella cheese
- 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
- ¼ cup fresh parsley
Directions
- Heat butter a large pot over medium/high heat. Cook the onion, garlic, bell peppers sausage, until garlic starts to brown and the sausage is cooked.
- Remove sausage and vegetables from pan.
- Began seasoning the Large shrimp. Use Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika , garlic powder and onion powder.
- Sprinkle fresh lemon juice on shrimp. Add olive oil to shrimp. Cook over medium heat for 3-5 min.
- Remove shrimp from pan.
- Add butter, heavy cream, diced tomatoes and seasoning to sauce. Season with Cajun seasoning, smoke paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and cayenne pepper. Add hot sauce.Bring sauce to boil.
- Boil pasta in pot with olive oil and salt for 6-8 min.
- To finish, add mozorrella parmesan and parsley, stirring until cheese melts and pasta . Make sure pasta is coated evenly with a thick sauce.
