The latest State of Play, partly devoted to Arkane Studios' latest production, Deathloop, and other third-party games, has left no room for the upcoming God of War. However, there are rumors about the arrival of a trailer next August.
Several months now separate us from the latest trailer of the sequel of God of War released by Sony. At the time of closing its conference last September, the manufacturer had given us a trailer of barely a minute and not really chatty. A situation about to change?
A recent rumor, relayed by TheGamer and conveyed by QuimSix on Reddit, evokes a potential reappearance of the title developed by SIE Santa Monica Studio during an event that could take place during the month of August.
According to QuimSix, other games should be presented during this event like the PS5 version of GTA V. In his post, he also mentions the fact that new information on Horizon Forbidden West could be broadcast, but in another presentation.
Certainly the guy was right about the date of the previous State of Play and had also got his hands on a trailer of Far Cry 6, however caution is still required. And even more so when it comes to a title as awaited as the successor of God of War, a part that had reached the maximum score in our columns.
