Battlefield: The next instalment unveiled in a few days!

Formalized in April 2020, the next Battlefield is expected to be released between October 1 and December 31, 2021. In the past few weeks, rumors about a presentation in late May - early June have multiplied, but EA is putting an end to speculation by dating the presentation of the title.

Expected on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series and Xbox One, the next Battlefield, which could just be named like this, will be unveiled to the public on June 9 at 4 pm, French time. The announcement was made by the official Battlefield Twitter account. No new information to report, but EA may have hidden clues in the short animation accompanying the tweet. The colors evoke modern episodes, but it may be a coincidence. With regard to the teasing orchestrated by the teams of DICE, Criterion and EA Gothenburg, we could be entitled to a trailer as well as a quick presentation of the game, before being entitled to more precise information at the EA Play Live which will take place on July 22.

A first trailer for this summer

After having communicated about the different contributions of this new chapter – DICE and Criterion plan to get us the jaw with this new episode called “next-gen” – the American giant delivers us today a new appointmentyou on the official Twitter account of the Battlefield saga to hopefully learn more about Battlefield 6.

As you can see, the saga will give us new information during the month of June, unfortunately, we do not have more precision. However, we imagine that Electronic Arts will take advantage of a new EA Play event located around the dates of the 2021 E3 to unveil us, why not, a very first trailer, and obviously a title for chapter 6 of the adventures of the FPS Battlefield.

We are currently in the daily testing phase to fine-tune, balance and create the best possible Battlefield game. I can tell you that this is a bold step. It contains everything we love about a Battlefield and takes it to the next level. EA Statement as of April 22, 2021
