Ray-Tracing made its appearance in the series Call of Duty thanks to the episode Modern Warfare. But since then, only Black Ops Cold War, last to date, had benefited from the DLSS. Nvidia has addressed this shortage, adding DLSS to Modern Warfare and Warzone.
Since today, the DLSS is available on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone. As a reminder, the DLSS or super-sampling by deep learning in the language of Molière is a technology reserved for Nvidia graphics cards series RTX 20 and RTX 30. It can artificially increase the resolution of an image to a higher resolution, adapted to your monitor, using few resources. In the case of a video game, this increases the resolution of a game by losing few images per second, or at least less than if we actually increased the resolution of the game. In the case of Ray-Tracing, which uses a lot of resources, it is a technology almost indispensable to have a high framerate. Nvidia promises significant improvements (up to 70% in 4K according to them) on Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare:
The DLSS is therefore available on Call of Duty: Warzone, as well as on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare campaign and multiplayer modes and Spec-Ops. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War already had this feature.
